After Peter is broken up with and heartbroken by his long time girlfriend Aimee, he goes on a boys trip with his two best friends Rupert and Derek. While there, he unknowingly encounters a magical genie and mistakenly wishes to be “still together” with his ex-girlfriend. From that moment on he and Aimee must be physically within the same five feet of each other at all times. Therefore, they must navigate their time apart… together.
‘Apart Together’ is a combo of an opposing forces rom-com and a bro road trip movie with a magical twist. The final film will run around 90 minutes long. Right in the “sweet spot”.

Writer - DirectorThis has a project I’ve been working on and off with since 2020. It goes back to the fun ice breaker question of “what would you wish for if you met a genie?” Through that I developed the idea of an ex-couple getting stuck together by a wish. I fell in love with that concept and have had so much joy writing the script and finding more situations to put this couple in (or through rather). I’m so excited to bring this script to life on the screen and give audiences a chance to delight in the tasteful awkwardness of our two heroes.

I have been honing my craft of acting on the stage and screen since grade school, when I beat out all the high school girls for the lead in The Wizard of Oz. I’ve starred in multiple short films, feature films, and stage productions in Chicago, New York City, and my hometown of Toledo, Ohio. I have always held a love for movement-based acting work and am excited to put that to full use in ‘Apart Together.’
